Volunteers Needed at Flag Alley - Come Join the Fun!
Surfgimp Foundation is seeking volunteers at the Rehoboth Seashore Marathon by setting up “Flag Alley” in the woods, displaying inspirational signs & cheering on the runners as they pass by near the turn-around at Wolfe Neck. Our goal is to bring much needed support, encouragement, energy & smiles as runners conquer a mentally challenging part of the race.
Food/drink perks & TONS of joy & gratitude to make it worth your time! Believe us when we say the runners will leave it all on the course. It is astounding to watch them push their limits! We joke about not knowing how they manage to get it done given we tire from simply standing in the woods, ringing cowbells & shouting encouragement all morning. But seriously, every second is worth the time & energy. Consider joining us. It's life affirming. We promise you.
